It has a similar funky interface that xmovie used to have but looks like a
pretty solid package for video editing. Unfortuneately I don't know of any
distro actually packages it.
While we are on the topic of Movie Editing Apps, don't forget Film Gimp. It's an image editing program used for movie frames instead of pngs and jpegs. It has been used by several recent movies such as Scooby Doo and I believe ST: Nemesis. It's gotten to the point now where a lot of the special effects houses use Linux as a desktop and not just a rendering tool. A recent Linux Journal had an article about Linux Desktop use in movie editing.

Now with the Accounting Apps (probably the last major hurdle to linux on all desktops in companies) starting to appear for Linux, I expect that Linux on the business desktop is on the verge of taking off.

Now if something could be done about the game market.....
