Hi Jarrod, I was not planning Kylix Part II exactly, because I have not been using it much since the first go-around (for licencing and other reasons, it's not the best choice for the app I'm currently writing). Because there was some interest in Kylix among those who did not see it first time, I was planning to do basically a repeat, but with a 'bonus': all/most of our presentations are good technically, but some are not well prepared, organised and presented, IMHO. While that may not be important for a group of Linux geeks/afficionados, there are times when it _IS_ important. So I thought that I could, in a parallel thread, talk a bit about the 'how' of doing a presentation in a more professional manner. So the folks that saw Kylix first time around would still get something potentially valuable from the session. Thoughts on that, anyone? About further presentations - I'm writing an app using Python, PythonCard (which uses wxWindows), SQLlite and PySQLite, though on some days PythonCard might become raw wxWindows, and SQLite might become Firebird. But I won't be ready to present that for a couple of months.
