Okay seeing that adidas is a pentium166mmx... would a powermac7200 use less wattage then it... seeing as i'm paying for electricity, i would like to save some cash.

I don't see any reason why not. You can also get Mandrake, SuSE, Debian,
and more on the PPC platform.
