I have switched over to OpenOffice.org and potentially in the future to StarOffice. I am currently transferring my files to the OOo/SO native format, but I do still have some files in rtf format. I still have MS Office installed for the odd docouments (resume, etc.) that need some sort of specific feature in Word, but at the same time, looking for ways to eliminate those as well.

I choose OOo/SO because I am loooking at developing a multi-OS network and want to have as much cross compatibility as I can. Although, I still use wordpad, notepad, and other word processors for simple little projects when needed. Like has been said many time before, use the right tool for the job.
