Hi Jason,

If I may be so bold ;-), if you are still wishing to use an RPM-based distro 
for whatever reason, I would suggest that you may wish to give SuSE a whirl.

I have found that YaST2 as well as apt-get combine rather well in SuSE as 
opposed to RH, where they wreaked havoc on a server, causing a reinstall and 
much frustration along the way.
