I'm still planning to do a PythonCard prezzy (so long as I'm 'planning' I don't have to actually _DO_ anything). PythonCard & everything I used are cross-platform - I wrote it on Windows for reasons that are good enough for now, but intend porting it to Linux 'soon'. I also need to get the PythonCard & supporting stuff installed on my dual-boot laptop before I can do the prezzy. I reckon I should be ready for the November meeting, perhaps October if I strain a bit. I have been busy recently moving out to Cochrane - the lack of traffic jams is WONDERFUL!, but some things have got temporarily hidden in the chaos. The app I'll demo uses SQLite (a nifty lightweight but powerful database) and apart from the usual boring customer/name/address features, does scheduling of guests into beds. I thought that would be really hairy when I started, but now that it works it looks quite simple. Ahhh - the power of SQL! -- John W. Hall Cochrane, Alberta, Canada.
