yes. in earlier versions of KWeather it had its own checkbox for C/F. but a
revision or three ago it became a better KDE citizen and started obeying the
KDE-wide setting.

so if you don't have the checkbox in KWeather, set it in the Regional
 settings by choosing Metric for your Measure System (or just pick Canada for
 your locale and it should do that automatically for you... best to double
 check anyways =)

to see the change you need to restart the panel. the easiest way is to just
log out of kde and back in. but you can also do it with style and run:

        dcop kicker Panel restart

you can also do this by firing up kdcop and browsing the tree for kicker,
Panel, and then double clicking on restart.

if you are running 3.2, you will need to first kill kweatherservice:

        killall -9 kweatherservice

or press Control + Escape to get the process table and kill it from there.
