Hi all

Just a quick note here that points to the joys of freedom we have in
Linux_GNU.
My monitor just died yesterday (bummer) but since I had already set up my
machine to allow remote X on our local LAN for my son, all I had to do is go
to another Linux machine in the house and run
X -query <this is were I entered my computers name>

The response of the remote screen is very good (fast)

So at least I can get by for now, while I figure out what to do about my kaput
monitor.

Sorry I will be missing the meeting tonight :( but I had a previous commitment
Later
Mel
