1. SuSE 9.0 on my laptop and SuSE 8.2 on my desktop 2. Mankdrake 3. Heard good things about SuSE, good installer, good admin tools (in either CLI or GUI, YaST rocks) 4. KDE, I cannot say how impressed I am that the KDE developers have managed to make it work faster over time now slower. I haven't gotten my desktop moved over as of yet because I am having problems with GNUcash. I was able to work with the same file between my laptop and my desktop successfully even between versions and now for some reason (unknown to me) my laptop version doesn't like my GNUcash file anymore. This has caused me to wait until I resolve this.
