Looks to me like qmail doesn't know what to do with these messages, cannot deliver them and thus doesn't eliminate them from your queue. In case of spam with forged sender addresses, they _should_ be delivered to the postmaster address. Please check in /var/qmail/alias that the folllowing files exist and have the proper contents.

.qmail-mailer-daemon -> .qmail-postmaster
.qmail-postmaster --- has contents e.g.  &[EMAIL PROTECTED]
.qmail-root --- has contents e.g.  &[EMAIL PROTECTED]

As long as open2space.com can be converted by an in-house dns server to an ip address and the home directory for user sgrover contans a Maildir directory (assuming Maildir delivery), qmail will deliver to that userid no problem. However, if you sgrover is an alias for shawng, then you need to add an alias to inform qmail, like this:

.qmail-shawng --- with contents e.g. &[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hope that helps. Ciao,
