I thought some people (maybe Jesse ;-) would be interested in GNOME 2.6 for 
Slackware.  I had found some hastily compiled packages (that I won't link to 
here) but they didn't work very well since they didn't deal with a lot of the 
(apparently) necessary gconf configuration.

So I was pleased to find Dropline GNOME 2.6 on Linuxpackages.net this morning.

I haven't tried it yet, since I'm still working out the kinks from the last
