not quite; it's a commercial product that is released under the GPL (and 
QPLv2). it isn't GPL _compatible_, it is the GPL. the reason for the QPL 
license is to be workable with BSD / MIT / Artistic style licenses as well.

it's just as Free on the Mac as it is on UNIX, as Qt is released under the GPL 
for the Mac.

of course not. and i didn't say that. please feel free to comment on factual 
errors i've made, but these sorts of statements are unproductive.

hrm. in my last email replace the word "you" with a more generic word like 
"someone" ... it wasn't pointed at you Mike, it was a series of general 
statements. it sounds like you took it personally.

lots more. if you note in my previous email i specifically stated that for 
open source projects, the shortcomings of Gtk+ on Windows can be offset by 
the fact that it's LGPL'd on that platform.
