Basically, it is recommended to uninstall Kaffeine and xine from Suse, and install the binaries (or compile from source) listed on the above page. I went through the steps, and had some success. The RealPlayer plugin failed to install due to a missing dependancy, but that wasn't a big loss. Other than that, I was up and watching "Willow" pretty quick. Now I just need to change the file associations to not reference Kaffeine. Maybe this will help someone else out down the road.
