This may be way out in left field. I have my web/print server which has a voice modem in it. Is it humanly possible [short of writing my own app] to have Linux see the modem as a device on my laptop and talk on the phone via wifi card->server->modem->out? My laptop only has voice/fax, plus its a Winmodem POS thats just getting support under ALSA. (its an AC97 i810 if anyone has experience with them).
