Tom, Don't let the anality of some people around here frustrate you.
Please know that for the most part members (on or off-list) have your best interests at heart. And depending on their background, security and other principles of networking are very important and are likely drilled into them on a daily basis. Sometimes people just get a little over-anxious and psycho when it comes to things that are dear to their heart; myself (and likely yourself) included. I for one have had to suffer many fools as well as the "slings and arrows of outrageous fortunes" on the list. I try to and encourage others to stick up for what's right and what I believe in, but always temper that with tact. Sometimes all of us miss that part! LOL! I apologize on behalf off the list for you feeling attacked or brow-beaten. Please don't let that one bad incident sour your interest and participation in the FLOSS community or CLUG.
