I ran into a small challenge. I have a new
system [cube] on which I'm installing RH9 - WindowsXp Pro already installed on
it. It's at the step where I proceed to create a boot disk; except that I
have a usb floppy and got the "error making the boot disk..." error.
Obviously it cannot find the floppy. I have no room for internal floppy. I
know the floppy is working on windows.
What I'm not sure is whether it's being detected
by the line installation. I looked at /Mt/sysimage/etc/modules.conf and it's got
two lines:
"alias usb-controller ehci-hcd"
"alias usb-controller1 usb-uhci"
Questions:
1. how can I mount this floppy from the console
<ctrl-alt-f2>?
2. when I do "uname -r" I get 2.4.20-6BOOT. Can I
use this in my "mkbootdisk --device 2.4.20-6BOOT" command?
Thanks in advance.
Rafael.
