It could consist of senior gurus, working with junior gurus to assit newbies and at the same timne developing their skills. An example would be, having a senior person working with a junior on the Apache workshop and having the junior and senior presenting it together.
I for one would welcome the chance to learn some system/network administration skills, applications, concepts, etc from those who are willing to share. ANd I mean going beyond the mailing list. But have a type of regitry listing gurus and there areas of expertise (i.e. Infrastucture hardware, Security Administration, etc.) adn have them work with a couple people to bring them along. I think that something like that would ultimately benefit everyone, by showing people that we arent just a bunch of hackersand geeks but a network of IT professionals, who can deal with just about anything...but with a penchant for Linux and FLOSS products. My douse centavos worth! _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
