Cameron, I'm sorta in the same boat as you. I think my Suse 9.3 installation on my laptop is a little unstable (through my own doing though... er... probably). I've been wanting to put Debian or Gentoo on there, but just don't have the time before the workshop. So, It'll stay as is so that I can attempt to learn something, and then in the next day or so I'll replace it... The point is to have a KDE environment we can learn from tomorrow. What we do from there (like through the $%&*% computer out the window maybe.... ) is another story.. <grins> Don't be so hard on yourself - we've all been there.
