Hello all, including Mel Walters, Mel Broadhurst, and Gustin Johnson, After I completely removed open office, which included the screen displaying the word "purged" as well as other words, and then installed "openoffice" I did an ooffice dm200506.sxc because the file was there and got the following:
I'm comfused because I can't find OpenOffice's user file.. your ~/.sversionrc file tells me they should be under /home/michael/.openoffice/1.1.3, but they are not. Please fix the situation manually. You may want to edit ~/.sversionrc to indicate where oo installed, or remove it if you did remove your installation directory manually(you bad one). I hope this helps, Help appreciated in advance, Michael Walters Michael Walters wrote: >Hello All, > >Please forgive me for starting a new thread, but I did an ooffice >dm200506.sxc command to open my dm200506.sxc spread sheet and got the >following: > >ooffice dm200506.sxc > >OpenOffice.org lockfile found >/home.michael/.openoffice/1.1.3./lock) >using existing OpenOffice.org > >sh: line1: crash_report:command not found >sh: line 1: crash_report: command not found >Fatal exception: Signal 11 >Stack: >/usr/lib/openoffice/program/libsal.so.3[oxb72df3ec] >/usr/lib/openoffice/program/libsal.so.3[oxb72df579] >/usr/lib/openoffice/program/libsal.so.3[0xb72df644][0xffffe420] >/usr.lib.openoffice/program.libsal.so.3[0xb72d475f] >/lib/tls/libpthread.so.0[0xb6ef1b63] >/lib/tls/libc/so.6(__clone+0xa)[0xb6ce418a] >Aborted > >Sorry to start this new thread called open office problem, but I have >tried on my own to use this information to fix open office and failed, >and I hoped that someone might be able to help me get open office >working again. > >I would also like to know how I select and paste the results of the >ooffice command into my email so that I do not make any mistakes copying >the output into my book and from my book into my email. > >>From now on I will use the open office problem thread for all help on >this problem until I solve it.
