workshops being discussed, and in the early stages of planning. These are in
various states of planning from different CLUG members. Hopefully we can
tell you more about them shortly.
However, I just received a phone call from one of CLUG's affiliates, and they
are interested in doing a small workshop/seminar for CLUG members on the
topic of "what it means to be a contractor". This would include discussion
of things like book keeping and tax write-offs, ethics/business acumen,
billing, contracts, etc. From the sounds of things, this would be a short
session of maybe 2 or 3 hours.
Is there enough interest in the group for this? If so, I'll make the
arrangements to make it happen.
