-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I use exim (the debian default) nearly everywhere. It also can be made to do distribution list lookups against Active Directory/LDAP. Very configureable. One really nice feature is the RBL integration. We do lookups on every IP that connects, if the connecting IP is in an RBL the mail bounces *before* any data is received. This has cut mail bandwidth by ~70%.
It also has robust support for TLS and authentication for SMTP connections. So, I am biased towards exim, but then I have been using it for years.
