Already tried it. Windows Live Mail *retches from the pit of stomach*
It's horrible. And yes, it is AJAX-world. But it's designed to be a clone of Outlook as far as I can tell.
Preview pane, drag and drop, right clicking, etc. Plus, it only works in IE. Which is very vain.

Not my cup of tea at all. Like someone said recently "Drag&Drop != Efficient"

hehe, if you think Gmail is great because it's a step up from other
webmails, get ready to jump ship when the next version of Hotmail
comes around, I hear it's going to have AJAX out the wazoo.
