I'm looking for recommendations on DNS.

I'm running quite a few domains off my VPS and potentially more to come. At the
moment, I'm paying Zone Edit $10 a pop to provide DNS for each domain. I really
like the Zone Edit service because it's easy to point different bits and pieces
of a domain to different places (like an MX record to Everyone.net and the A
record to my box, for example). However, being the cheap bastard that I am, I'm
wondering if I should provide my own DNS.

First question is: how complicated is this? To give you an idea of my skill
level, I find web servers easy, but MTAs very complex. Where would installing,
configuring, and managing my own DNS fall on that scale?

Second question: would *you* bother doing it, or recommend just sticking with
Zone Edit?

Thanks!

Jon
