Hi again,
I should have mentioned that you can increase the resolution of the
video in Ekiga if you change the 'gconf' settings (use gconf-editor or
other).

Both QCIF (176x144) and CIF (352x288) are supported.

There's also some other 'goodies' which can be changed there too...
