My T20 operates wonderfully with Linux, but as Gustin points out - you have to convert it from an MTP to a UMS device. When I bought my T10, doing so was considered a "hack", but since then iRiver has released an official MTP<->UMS application which will convert the device for you.
I don't have a link handy, but some Googling will turn it up. What do you guys use? are Ipods viable on Linux?
