My T20 operates wonderfully with Linux, but as Gustin points out - you have
to convert it from an MTP to a UMS device. When I bought my T10, doing so
was considered a "hack", but since then iRiver has released an official
MTP<->UMS application which will convert the device for you.

I don't have a link handy, but some Googling will turn it up.

Subject: [clug-talk] portable music players with Linux

Howdy

My friend just bought an iriver T10 cuz it was supposed to support OGG
but instead it broke his windows install with media player 11 and can't
be used in Linux so he's returning it. What do you guys use? are Ipods
viable on Linux?

Evan
