My apologies for not being more explicit. I wanted to know if I could remote access the server and reinit the NFS service without freezing the same client that I am using to remote access the server. I have seen the client freeze when the NFS server is down since I am exporting the home directory to that client. I have the soft and background options active in the clients etc/fstab file for the exported directories. -- Virtually, Tom W _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
