I've used that command before - I can vouch that it works on my machine. I read it somewhere on the web.
It may not work for all machines - but meh.

You reaaaaly shouldn't do that, unless you know what you're doing!  If
only I could count the number of times I've had to re-ghost computers
because of people using debug to write to things they shouldn't
have... well, that and just taking out the boot sector in general.
