Hi Dacy, For audio only conferences you could use a SIP client to connect to an Asterisk server (of your running) or one of the various free servers around the internet.
For example there is one at: enum: +882 99 000199 (000-999) - E164 public Voice Conference Rooms (000 through 999 are the conf numbers) The problem with using a free service is that you can't prevent others joining in. There are other paid for services which would require you to pay and enter a PIN to join/start a conference. If you want to do voice and video conference, I'm afraid I don't know of an open source solution. If you want to do '1 to many' video distrobution then you might be frig Asterisk, or you could look at the video server stuff in VLC. Althought you don't mention it in this email, I think that you noted you'd like some whiteboard capability. The developement versions of InkScape (a fork of Sodipodi) are working on this. Good luck with your challenge, Simon. _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
