Hi all. I've been struggling with this problem for a while. I'm currently running FC4, and want to upgrade to the latest and greatest kubuntu on my Athlon 2500+, 280Gb HDD, Dual screen, 1.25GB RAM box.
The problem is every time I try to install, the boot CD just keeps rebooting in the initrd stage. I've tried FC6, and Kubuntu and have the same problems. I've disabled my second screen, and also tried every kernel option I can think of, but to no avail. I tried the FC4 boot CD again and it had no difficulties, as well as older versions of ubuntu, so there must be something different in the kernel images or something. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks.
