Hmmm.... playing with DL the CD images for Slackware12 and I my BT had slowed to a crawl (a crawl is between 0B/s and 2KB/s). I tried stopping/restarting Azureus but that didn't seem to make any difference.
Then I thought about the noise awhile back about Shaw traffic shaping BT into oblivion. I enabled encryption on BT and now my xfer rate has magically hit over 600KB/s.
