Between those two, I'd go with Squirrel.

Having said that, I'll throw in my two cents for Scalix, which just became a
Canadian company, as a single complete integrated solution. www.scalix.com

If you'd prefer to stay with IMAP/POP, I'd recommend checking out IMP, built on
Horde. www.horde.com/imp

Subject: [clug-talk] To Squirrelmail or to OpenWebmail, that is the question.

Greetings,
I'm about to embark on a webmail implementation of my sendmail based
mailserver. Perhaps, some of you might be thinking, what have you been waiting
for...It seems that many are turning to providing this ability, considering all
the issues with roaming users accessing their mail from other parts of the
world.

I'm curious to ask of the clug users what they prefer, use or have used,
between these two options. I'm not sure if there are others out there to
consider. If so, please include your additional comments.

I’m also interested to know if you've used mbox --> mdir converters, since what
I'm using right now uses the mbox format and as I understand from my reading,
I'd have to use mdir format for imap (dovecot). I think I even tried a couple
of tools, some time ago; their names escape me at the moment, and I did not
have much success. Perhaps, I did not do it properly. And since this is the
route that I’m going to be taking, I better learn to do it right. Any advise
will also be appreciated.

Thank you kindly,
Rafael.
