There are many people on this list that are incredibly experienced, and have more brains then most people I know put together. There are also some noobies. A very well-rounded bunch. Fact is: if by chance you don't know the answer to something, there's almost always someone around here that does. The flavor of distro choice around here varies - but for the most part, KDE is the WM of choice, and Kubuntu seems fairly popular among the masses. Debian and Gentoo are all well respected as well. A large portion of the group uses VMWare, and lately there's been a lot of talk about CMS, and FLOSS financial management (Gnucash anyone?).
