I am a console man myself :), but E17 and Gnome are my 2nd choices, I've
also worked quite a bit with VMWare, I used it to develop the clustering
system that I was working on, I still do use it for that because I do
not have sufficient load to need more than 2 boxes.

I will probably be fairly active in any sort of tech support thread, I
used to idle in #linuxhelp on occasion and just help people out to
sharpen my skills. I have given many one on one lessons to people who
have asked me, so I am no stranger to helping out here and there.
