Depends on the board, but I would estimate that it will cost $200-$250
per board by the time it gets here, and another $50 or so if you need
a power supply, flash card, serial cable, etc.

Then, if you want to interface with some hardware, that's probably another $25+

If that's too much and you just want to play with some small hardware,
wait until I do the second workshop with microcontrollers.  It will be
well under $100 (probably more like $40-$50 or so for everything,) and
may be just as much or even more fun (but will most likely require
windows... lets call it a PROGSIG workshop...)
