No onboard temp. sensor, correct. It really isn't that useful to have one on-board... since it will just tell you the motherboard temperature. The only reason I had wanted it before was because it's something easy to write code for and get immediate results. It has several ADC channels, so you can run a thermistor / thermocouple or two if so desired. (or, say, an analog-output range finders...) Wireless... well, that would just require a driver, AFAIK, since the TS-7260 was just using a USB wireless adapter anyway. Yes, power consumption is comparable. 5V 0.6A is required for this board, and I think more is required for the TS-7260 (except in low-power mode.) I'll ask about the pricing for more onboard flash. The extra 32MB of ram is $15. The onboard NOR flash has a "ram drive" image on it that runs linux. I would be surprised if there is much more than 1MB free on it though. You can get things like this (2GB USB flash in an SD format for $50,) which make the onboard NAND flash upgrade less necessary. http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/PID-MX14782(ME).aspx -Mark C. _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
