I'll save the $100.00 if there is no real downside.

I read the linked page, the standard Flash footprint looks pretty small
and I didn't see anything about a temperature sensor.  No stated
wireless compatibility - but that may be more Linux related than HW.

A question: 
Is the power consumption comparable between the two boards?

In the end I don't have any real preference - but I'm thinking that
after we're "finished" we have linux + control software in the onboard
flash not a USB attached drive.  Can we make a Linux file-system fit in
that available flash and if not, what's the unit price with additional
flash?
