To the people that have already purchased one of these, Do you think that the Eee PC offers good value for money? If so, why? I must admit that they look attractive and if the price point was around $250, I probably wouldn't think twice about buying one. The $400 price seems reasonable, but I was looking at laptops awhile back and for $400 you can buy a decent used laptop with much more horsepower, more RAM, a way bigger hard drive, and a removable media (CD/DVD) drive. If you're looking for something small, you can probably get a pretty nice PDA for the same price. So, I'm trying to figure out if these things are actually worth buying.
