I could type pretty fast on a Zaurus too, it took a bit of getting used to but I would sit on IM with it for hours and no one would even know that I wasnt at an actual computer.
I find its easy to adapt to any keyboard really.. I find myself typing out pages on my blackberry without even realizing it.
