If you were to fix a GPS receiver to your hat and leave it on all the time you could extract the track log and auto-magically match it up to the time stamp in the images. Heck if your GPS has a electronic compass you could even log the direction you were pointing.... only half said 'tongue in check'. The phase you want to google is 'flickr google maps mashup'. I did see one while ago which was a site providing the cross referencing to give photos GPS location.
