Good Morning, I recently acquired an HP TX2510CA Tablet PC. The very same day I bought it, it burnt. I left it plugged overnight and was awaken in the middle of the night to a house full of smoke. I called HP and they assured me this was a one-in-a-billion occurrence; but when I did a bit of digging I found the TX2000 series is prone to overheating and other serious problems...
That said, I still need a new Tablet PC for work and if at all possible I would like to run Linux on it. I want to take advantage of the Pen input, the screen rotation and (if available) the web camera and fingerprint scanner. I have yet to find a model with an attached claim of a successful Linux Installation. Any suggestions? P.S I would also like to make sure the tablet is not going to burn down my house :-) =*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*= Juan Alberto Cirez [EMAIL PROTECTED] =*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*= _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
