They are only cancelling the Linux pre-installed (and thus the support) program. Linux should still work fine as long as Intel keeps releasing their stuff to the upstream kernel folks. Also, recent Dell Laptops have been good to. My next laptop will likely be a Latitude E5400 loaded for bear (Intel through and through, CPU, Chipset, video, and wifi). AMD, you are dead to me. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFI2WotwRXgH3rKGfMRAjpJAJ9Twyxk/cuXQEqyG5X9DNNWpa4jPACaAzhi veFxEw+qXlT2CVksPKVC9xY= =bT3j -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list [email protected] http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
