Ahhh...right. I haven't done that yet. So far, all I've done is
transferred my old AtariST-512 files (Dr.T's Realtime) over to
Rosegarden by capturing the midi events so that I could keep the old
songs I sequenced in the 90s.

My rig fits into my backpack  :)  and I have access to various
keyboards other than the ones at home so having my studio with me at
all times is nice.

Thanks...however, I'm not new to open source (or this list...I've been
using linux since 1998 and have been a CLUG subscriber since 2002).
I'm just new to the wonderful world of music with Linux (although this
is a new email address as I lost my old one a little while back). My
apology is because I do know better and really should have googled
first (btw...esr's file certainly has grown a lot since the last time
I read it).
