I agree that this is too harsh.  If some people feel it is a problem it
is trivial to filter via your MUA (aka your mail client).  I for one
enjoy the perspectives that differ from my own.  It is these discussions
where I tend to learn the most.  Having said, the thread that started
this never seemed to make it as a discussion.  It is a shame really
because I was hoping to learn something.
