Are you kidding me? Must you hijack this thread with your BS? Let me try to understand your logic: I'm having trouble finding an Eee PC preloaded with Linux and therefore desktop Linux sucks and we owe you an apology?
Even if the reason why I'm having trouble finding one is because people didn't like Linux on them, you have not proved your point (although you have never offered any proof to back up your arguments). Just because people are unhappy with buying a Linux machine, does not mean it sucks. If they were not expecting Linux, then they will be unsatisfied. If they cannot understand why they cannot load their favorite windows software, they will want something that can. This has nothing to do with how good or bad the OS is. The big problem with most of these netbooks is they run crappy Linux distros. It's virtually impossible to install software on the Xandros systems that ship with Eee PCs. A newbie will not understand why he can neither install Windows software, nor the tarballs/rpms/debs that he can download for Linux. It is also hard to get mp3 support and other video codecs. If they shipped with UNR with all the software repositories enabled, it would prompt the user to install audio and video codecs and it would be simple as pie to install anything the user wanted. Again, you need the right tool for the right job. Just as Slackware sucks as a desktop distro, so does Xandros suck for newbies that just want to get a few simple things working.
