Saw this tonight that seems spot on topic. Reading through there a ways reveals some other Linux (ubuntu specific) netbook offerings as well.

I have no problem purchasing from Dell or HP, but I have been unable to find many Linux options through their online sites. Dell offers Ubuntu on some of their netbooks and while they hint that you can get it on a laptop, nothing comes up when you search for it. I might have to give them a call and see what my options are.

I'll check out ZaReason as well, thanks Shawn. Has anyone on the list had any experience with them?
