If your TV does not have a VGA connection, then you will need to get a converter unit - something that can switch from VGA to S-Video, Component, HDMI, etc.

The alternative is to get a video card that has TV-Out capabilities - usually in the form of an S-Video port. I believe the costs for the video card and the converter are comparable, or at least relatively close.

OR, I guess you can get a new TV with a VGA port. But that is a costly option, and not worth it in my opinion. HDMI is more accessible on the TVs.

Disclaimer: This is all off the top of my head and somewhat speculative.. :)

I only have one VGA connection on the video card for my TV. Can I get a
switch to choose the output for the computer monitor and the TV?

Appreciate any help. Thanks
