Thanks for all the input everyone... In the end I managed to snake a test of the Bell turbo stick (Novatel Wireless 998) because the office had just bought one for one of our users. Their HSPA and CDMA coverage is good, pricing average. Like everyone else, they won't support Linux...(I guess their techs would have to have skills at that point). The 998 works well under Ubuntu... configuration is a snap... soooooo since I am already a Bell customer I picked up one of these today.
