No, I mean conspiracy theory as one that lacks credible evidence to back it
up. See: we didn't land on the moon, 9/11 was an inside job, Obama is a
Kenyan, and just about everything that is blamed on the Jews. Another
hallmark of a conspiracy theory is that any evidence that contradicts the
theory is used by the theorists to support the conspiracy. This is why
people still think the World Trade Center was demolished, even though all
the credible scientists say otherwise. As for the conspiracy theories that
have shown to be true, I'd love to hear your examples. Also, I know it is
trendy to bash the mainstream media and even the media is jumping on that
bandwagon. But that doesn't mean that Glen Beck or an underground anarchist
paper is any more credible than the National Post, the Wall Street Journal,
the Toronto Star, or the New York Times. In fact, it is quite the opposite.
