Hello all, My brother suggested that in addition to following my doctor's advice on medication I learn how to eat a healthy diet. The book he gave me made suggestions which were also made by my nurse, so I know that the advice is good, coming from two reliable sources. And the beauty of it is that the changes are easy to make.
I would rather cook a healthy meal at home than to eat out at super sized junk food places and make myself sick. Tim Horton puts too much salt in their soups and too much sugar in their doughnuts and I do not like their coffee. The same goes for MacDonald's and A and W and any pizzeria in Calgary. And home cooked is cheaper as well. I will be back to Calgary Linux User's Group meetings as soon as I am healthy enough to come.
