You will probably want some restrictive outbound rules as well to prevent
the use of 3rd party DNS servers, proxies, and VPNs.  At work we have a
default outbound deny for workstations, which means that even if someone
brings in a non-managed device, they still cannot surf, download torrents,
or connect to VPNs.

If this is for home, the easiest (and probably fastest to set up) would be
to have opendns as a forwarder for your router, block outbound DNS from the
LAN, then configure opendns.  In all this should take you less than 30
minutes.
